The end of the 2021-22 season marked the National Girls Hockey League’s 3rd year. 

We had 4,995 players from 77 clubs play in 749 games. Teams 10U to 19U came from 29 states including Alaska, Washington, California,  Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, across to Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, across to Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, up to Wisconsin, over to Wyoming and states in between including Idaho, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, and Tennessee.

The NGHL is dedicated to the promotion and growth of girls’ ice hockey programs across the nation and supports its member clubs’ vision for player-focused development and progression to the next level.

Our Goals are…

  • To enhance the overall hockey experience for female athletes by partnering with like-minded programs to build a competitive schedule that geographically benefits all league members.
  • To support the growth and development of programs at the grassroots level by building a platform of support, and guidance for all of its members.
  • To promote the advancement of elite players to the collegiate level.
  • To foster opportunities for women to pursue a career in hockey with the goal of ultimately becoming leaders within the league and member organizations.
