Growing the game is a vital part of the National Girl’s Hockey League. If we don’t plant the seeds for growth the future of girls' hockey won’t thrive, which will directly impact the success of the league. Therefore, we've made a commitment to grow the game within our own organization by developing a Futures League. Our 10U & 12U events straddle the Northeast and the Mid/West, offering teams across the country an opportunity to participate showcases geared specifically for their age.
While Nationals don’t exist at these younger ages, we feel this is a great platform to offer an end-of-season event - something for the younger teams to “play for” during their season and look forward to.
For 10U & 12U teams, each event has a five (5) game guarantee, with Finals. Fall Classic, Winter Class, and Championships will have 2 divisions, ensuring balanced gameplay. Guest teams are welcomed.
