The NGHL is dedicated to the promotion and growth of girls ice hockey programs across the nation and supports its member clubs’ vision for player-focused development and progression to the next level. The NGHL hosts member teams as well as guest teams from around the country. Its offerings comprise league play, showcases, and exposure clinics and have teams competing at the 10U through 19U levels at Tier I and Tier II.
- To enhance the overall hockey experience for youth, female athletes by partnering with like-minded programs to build a competitive schedule that geographically benefits all league members.
- To support the growth and development of programs at the grassroots level by building a platform of support, and guidance for all of its members.
- To promote the advancement of elite players to the collegiate level.
- To foster opportunities for women to pursue a career in hockey with the goal of ultimately becoming leaders within the league and member organizations.
