The NGHL's schedule's purpose is two-fold:

  • To create a positive, organized, inclusive atmosphere for our girls' hockey programs, and
  • Our season is designed to provide top competition and exposure for teams and organizations across the country.
  • Games are held at top venues and desirable locations for maximum exposure to college scouts.

The NGHL provides a supplementary schedule and well-run, competitive events for 10U through 19U at Tier I and Tier II levels.  For membership, we look for a commitment to a schedule where each team would attend a minimum of 2 events, play 5 games (4 games for 10U & 12U), and attend the NGHL National championship weekend. From an admin perspective, the workload will be lighter with a guaranteed multi-event schedule providing simplicity and efficiency. Learn more.

The NGHL events are stay-to-play.

Guest teams are welcome at all events except Championships.

Red Division showcases have a 5-game guarantee. Guest teams are welcome to participate in these Red Division events with approval prior to registering.

The Blue Division events host teams across multiple levels. Schedules are built to ensure competitive games. All Blue Division events have a 5-game guarantee with finals in each division. Guest teams are welcome to participate in these Blue Division events.

We know travel can be difficult with younger players, so the NGHL is putting structure around a Futures Division (10U & 12U) that supports the mid/west teams and east coast teams. All Futures Division events are guaranteed 4 games per event with finals based on points. Guest teams are welcome to participate.

The NGHL provides college exposure opportunities for players looking to take their hockey career to the next level. Our camps focus on honing skills and places your skater in direct contact with college coaches.
