Training should be a part of every ice hockey player’s routine. It focuses on enhancing skills through repetition (skating, shooting, stickhandling) and building physical capacity (anaerobic, agility) for competitive, high-impact gameplay.
The NGHL NCAA Exposure Camp, June 6-7, amps up that training and brings together competitive female hockey players and college coaches to train and talk hockey.
Our goal is to provide exposure to college scouts through our showcases and camps. At camp, players are led by coaches from multiple NCAA programs across Division I and Division III, making this an excellent opportunity to connect and work with seasoned leaders.
Joining us this season, Kristin Tullo will lead an interactive Mental Performance Workshop focusing on:
• Controlling your focus and energy on the ice
• Handling pressure and emotions with confidence
• Learning a quick reset routine after mistakes
• Building real confidence through preparation
• Pre-game focus tools you can actually use
Camp is small, the ratio of coaches to campers is high, and the interaction with coaches is exceptional. Athletes range from 15 to 19-year-olds, all striving towards the goal of playing hockey in college. Players receive personalized instruction on and off the ice.
