11 Years of Toys, Hope, and Healing. 
This toy drive honors the memory of Giuliana, a St. Francis Cathedral School student who bravely battled chordoma cancer. For the past 11 years, her friends and supporters have collected donations for The Valerie Fund at the Newark Beth Israel’s Pediatric Oncology Department. The initiative was introduced to the rink in 2021 by Brendan Abbatemarco, an alumnus of the 18U Mercer Chiefs. 

This year, the 14U Princeton Tiger Lilies took the lead in organizing the drive. While the Tiger Lilies are the focal point of this year’s success, we also recognize the continued support of the 18U Mercer Chiefs Alumni. Both teams skate out of ProSkate in Monmouth Junction, NJ. 

We are incredibly grateful to the ProSkate family for their generosity, which has helped bring comfort and joy to pediatric patients who were unable to spend the holidays at home.
