Growing the game is a vital part of the National Girl’s Hockey League. If we don’t plant the seeds for growth the future of girls’ hockey won’t thrive, which will directly impact the success of the league. Therefore, we are making a commitment to grow the game within our own organization by developing and expanding the Futures Division. Each event has a four (4) game guarantee, with semi/finals. Our 10U & 12U events straddle the Northeast and the Mid/West, offering teams across the country an opportunity to participate in two showcases plus a championship weekend.

New this season, we’ve launched a Mid/West Futures Conference to help those skaters/families reduce the travel burden.

While Nationals don’t exist at these younger ages, we feel this could be a great platform to offer an end-of-season event – something for the younger teams to “play for” during their season and look forward to.
